David Putz is a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist at Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf (RIT/NTID), where he leads strategic marketing and outreach initiatives that connect youth, families, educators, and employers with programs that empower deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
David develops and manages campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms for programs such as Explore Your Future, TechTigers, Financial Wizards, Health Care Careers Exploration Program, Tiger Sports Performance Clinic, and the Tiger Gaming League. In his role, David partners with colleagues across RIT/NTID to craft compelling storytelling and marketing collateral—including flyers, emails, websites, social media, and success stories that strengthen pipelines of prospective students and showcase the value of hiring deaf and hard-of-hearing talent. His work is grounded in accessibility, creativity, and data-driven insights.
David is currently pursuing an MBA at RIT’s Saunders College of Business, focusing on Agile project management, operations, and strategic decision-making. He brings a strong foundation in Agile frameworks, Lean methodology, and marketing analytics, blending academic rigor with real-world application to drive impactful results.
Outside of work, David is passionate about home improvement projects, gardening and landscaping, personal finance planning, and creative storytelling. He is also an avid gamer, sports enthusiast, and content creator who enjoys blending professional expertise with personal passions in engaging ways.
