Greetings. My name is the Alli Cerone and I am the Faculty Recruitment Coordinator at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). During my time at RIT, I completed my Bachelor of Science through the School of Individualized Study, graduating summa cum laude in 2024. I am now a graduate student working towards my Master of Science in Communication, expected to graduate in the summer of 2027.
Prior to joining RIT, I gained valuable experience in medical billing; however, I found that my interests and strengths were better aligned with a career in higher education. As part of the Office of Faculty Recruitment, I have supported the recruitment efforts for faculty at RIT. I also assist with our annual Future Faculty Career Exploration Program, which gives scholars the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a faculty member at RIT.
Outside of work, I enjoying reading, going to the movies, and annoying my dogs and cats.
Please feel free to download my resume below or connect with me on LinkedIn.

Aloha! My name is Esther Nguyen and I’m from Honolulu, Hawaii. My background is in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Finance. I earned my bachelor’s degree in both fields and am currently pursuing my MBA with concentrations in Data Analytics and Information Systems.
My past experiences in MIS and data science have helped me discover that I enjoy working with data, solving problems, and finding ways to make information more useful. Through my experience at both a long-established company and a startup, I’ve gained experience with databases, data analysis, market research, and approaching problems from different perspectives. Looking ahead, I hope to pursue a data-related or problem-solving role where I can combine my technical and business background to improve processes, support better decisions, and ultimately make a positive impact on my community.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy traveling and exploring different cuisines. When visiting a new place, I love trying local food, taking in the scenery, and admiring the architecture. At home, I enjoy discovering new recipes and recreating some of my favorite dishes. For me, food and travel are some of the best ways to meet new people, experience different cultures, and see the world from new perspectives.
I’m excited for what’s ahead and the opportunities to learn, grow, and solve meaningful problems.

Future CPA, Accounting & Analytics Graduate Student, and Adventurer at Heart
Hi, I am Buthaina Al-Harthi! I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Accounting & Analytics at Rochester Institute of Technology after earning my bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo. My journey has taken me through New Zealand, Oman, and the United States, and each place has shaped who I am today. With an Omani–Tanzanian background, I love connecting with people from different cultures and finding my footing in new environments. I am adventurous, willing to take risks, and always curious about what I can learn by stepping outside my comfort zone.
My Journey So Far
Accounting became much more exciting when I got to experience it beyond the classroom. My internships at CTBK and Deloitte gave me opportunities to explore audit and tax, work with financial statements, and see how the details come together to tell a business’s story. Whether I was completing tie-outs or reviewing supporting documentation, I learned that good accounting takes curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to ask questions.
My journey also includes helping others grow. As a District Director for Delta Sigma Pi, I support the Alpha Kappa Chapter and its student leaders as they build confidence and prepare for their careers. I enjoy helping students turn an intimidating interview or networking opportunity into something they feel ready to tackle. Alongside that role, helping with my family’s business operations keeps me thinking on my feet and gives me firsthand experience with the decisions and challenges behind running a business.
Where I Am Headed
Next up: earning my CPA and returning to Deloitte full-time after completing my master’s degree! I am excited to build my career in audit and assurance and explore how analytics and technology can help us ask better questions and make better business decisions. Consulting, entrepreneurship, and real estate also spark my curiosity. I have a clear starting point, but I am open to discovering opportunities that stretch my skills and take me somewhere unexpected.
Outside of Work
The gym is a major part of my day. I used to be a powerlifter, so I know the satisfaction of working toward a goal and lifting something that once felt impossible. Fitness still gives me that sense of challenge and progress, along with time to reset.
I also enjoy day trading and learning about what drives financial markets. Beyond the gym and the charts, I love exploring new places, trying new experiences, and spending time with friends and family. My adventurous side means I am often ready to say yes to something unfamiliar, and living across different countries has taught me to adapt, stay curious, and connect with people wherever I go.
I’m a marketing professional and current MBA student at Rochester Institute of Technology, where I’m combining my background in marketing with a growing interest in business strategy, technology, and analytics.
I graduated from RIT with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Management Information Systems, completing my undergraduate degree in three years and graduating summa cum laude. Today, alongside my MBA studies, I’m also a co-founder of CR3D, a Bernard Kozel startup focused on bringing people together through recreational sports. Building a company while earning my MBA has given me the opportunity to take what I’m learning in the classroom and put it into practice in real time.
I am currently pursuing my MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) while studying for my CPA. Having completed my undergraduate degree in Accounting at RIT last year, I am excited to continue building on my education and preparing for the next step in my career.
Outside of the classroom, I serve as the President of RIT Men’s Club Soccer, a role that reflects my passion for the sport and my love of being part of a team. Soccer has been a major part of my life, and I enjoy the leadership, competition, and relationships that come with being involved in the game. In my free time, I also enjoy golfing, hiking, and working out.
I have accepted a position with CTBK, where I will begin my career as a Blended Staff member in the fall of 2027. I am extremely excited to start my professional career and return to Buffalo, NY, where I was born and raised. Outside of work, I am a proud Buffalo sports fan and love cheering on the Bills and Sabres.
