Jack Connolly-student, MBA program, Website, Resume

MBA student

Hell0! My name is Jack Connolly, I am currently pursuing on getting my masters in Business Administration at RIT. When I was an undergraduate I was getting my bachelors in Visual Media. Which is a mix of photography, graphic design, and marketing. I took some business classes while in my undergrad years and really liked the idea of going to take more classes in business.

This year in particular I hope to improve my knowledge of marketing and advertising career since I do believe it complements what I know currently when it comes to the creative side of what I’ve learned in my undergraduate years. I want to be able to be part of the business and creative side of advertising so that I can see how a marketing agency thinks on the business side of things and then later on decides how they want to get creative with their marketing.

Below is a link to my resume and website! Please feel free to click on either one of these links and let me know what you think about them? I would love to hear your feedback while I try to improve both my resume and my website.Your feedback will be much appreciated, since I will be applying to jobs soon once I am done after getting my MBA. To leave feedback, leave a comment below!

Jack Connolly is not only a dedicated student and creative thinker but also widely regarded as the best photographer at RIT. His eye for detail, composition, and storytelling through imagery sets him apart. Especially when you look at Jack’s versatility to market and different fields such as food, music, and clothing.

Hey Jack! Loved this.
My website comment: on mobile nothing says your name on the homepage!

Resume: some graphic design no’s! lol. No orphan words, capitalize spring 2025 on MBA in Business. Add dash in dates for the cage job. Present on senator job.

You’re doing great!!

Mostly going to discuss the resume – would recommend overall more consistency. The spacing on stuff isn’t always the same. For example, the skills and software sections being very close compared to contact and capture device. The ordering and font size of your experiences. Some list locations, some don’t; some years are smaller in size that other years. I would also separate Experience and Awards as 2 different sections and format Education the same as you did with your Experience. There are some review errors as well (like the “t” missing in your first experience title for “student government”).

Hey Jack! LOVE your website, you are so talented! Some of my critiques have been already shared by other commenters: fix any grammatical/word errors, resume structuring edits, etc. But very well done!

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers
