Kelly Rogers – BS, MS

Who Is she?

Kelly Rogers is a hard working graduate student in the entrepreneurship and innovative ventures program at Rochester Institute of Technology. After completing her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, as well as her athletic career with the RIT women’s soccer program, Kelly decided to return to campus as a graduate assistant for the soccer team while she completes her master’s program.

Notably, Kelly was recently published for the research she conducted this past summer, with Nate Barlow, regarding the analytical solution of the SEIR epidemic model for COVID 19 data. She plans to continue her academic career by pursuing a doctoral degree in a field relating engineering, mathematics and the longevity/sustainability of the oceans.

Additionally, Kelly is an active member of the greater Rochester area soccer community where she coaches a youth girls soccer team and works as a goalkeeper trainer for the Empire Revolutions Soccer Club as well as the Western New York Olympic development program. In addition to soccer, Kelly is an avid snowboarder and is employed by Ski Company Rochester during the winter months. She enjoys outdoor activities in any capacity – which can include hiking, camping, and running with her dog, Hazie. Her interests also include traveling, CrossFit, and cooking locally-sourced seasonal meals.
